Charlie Sheen, philanthropist

Most graciously disgraced Two and a Half Men alum Charlie Sheen last month helped Lindsay Lohan dig her way out of debt with a $100,000 gift. Last weekend, he gave out $75,000 more, this time to help a 10-year-old California girl named Jasmine Faulk beat cancer, E!News reports. Sheen's stunt double, Eddie Braun, forked over an additional $25,000. Chas' rep, Larry Solters, says the handout "is one of many charitable donations that Charlie frequently makes."

Amanda Seyfried's body

Amanda Seyfried played quite a few nerdy brainiacs before blossoming into a sex symbol. Maybe that's why she can be so frank about her body on film.

"Yes, I have parts of my body that I don't necessarily love," Seyfried tells InStyle mag.

Despite her reservations, the Les Miserables actor is OK doing nude scenes.

"It's not about my body. It's not about me. You're playing somebody else," she says. "It has to do with how comfortable you are with letting people see your skin. For me, I'm OK with it."

Phila. dancing record!

Guinness World Records sez Philly has set a new Soul Train Dance world record. "The largest Soul Train Dance consisted of 291 participants and was achieved by the Philadelphia Soul Train Line Dancers in Philadelphia, Pa., USA, on 13 February 2012," the official certificate reads. The dance was at the bottom of the Art Museum steps.

Mann: The horror of being 40

Leslie Mann, 40, who stars in hub Judd Apatow's gigglefest This Is 40, says it's easy to play 40 on screen, but turning 40 in real life was a most horrific experience.

"I had a nervous breakdown," Mann tells USA Today. "I look at myself and things look different. My skin looks different. My elbows, I have weird skin on my elbows I never had before. I have more wrinkles." Apatow chimes in with the reassuring thought that "she's going to have elbow-tightening surgery."

The couple's pic opens Dec. 21.

Fox on horror of giving birth

Leslie Mann's This Is 40 costar, Megan Fox, in September had a brush with an equally terrifying life event, being delivered of son Noah. "I was screaming for an epidural when [hub Brian Austin Green] was driving me to the hospital because my water broke on its own," Fox, 26, tells Access Hollywood. "It was level orange alert pain." Adds the beauty, "It's exhausting, but it's amazing."
