A petition calling on the government to deport

Piers Morgan

for voicing antigun views had amassed more than 47,000 signatures Monday, three days after it was posted on the White House's petition website by Infowars.com.

Morgan has called for stricter gun-control laws in the wake of the massacre in Newtown, Conn., and called a gun advocate who appeared on his CNN show an "unbelievably stupid man."

The petition demands that Morgan, a foreign national, "be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights" and for using his TV show "to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens." Morgan sticks to his guns, as it were. "Bring it on, you goon," he tweets.

"Americans murdered with assault weapons in movie theaters, temples, schools, shopping malls," he said Monday, "where does it end?"

Bieber files II: Justin's bid for autonomy

In a shocking report, the New York Daily Mews reveals that Bieb, now of legal age, has been misbehaving most childishly. "Justin doesn't seem to care and does whatever he wants," says

A Source

, suggesting Bieber may think of himself as an autonomous free agent. That said, maybe he ought not be allowed so much self-governance. "He smokes weed all day,"

A Second Source

tells the News, "from the time he gets up, and orders everybody around. . . . There's no supervision." Record company suits are worried also that Justin is expending too much emotional capital on his roller-coaster-of-a-thing with that Gomez girl.

Capra's magic: Snow in July

In a special report excerpted by People mag, Life.com has revealed the secret

Frank Capra

used to make snow fall on the four-acre RKO set in Encino, Calif., where he was shooting holiday classic

It's a Wonderful Life

in June and July '46 during a heat wave. Capra, an engineering whiz at Cal Tech before his film days, mixed foamite (the stuff you find in fire extinguishers) with sugar and water and, some say, soap flakes. The mixture didn't just fall pretty and fluffy through the air. It perfectly mimicked that lovely crunch snow makes underfoot.

Demi's Xmas gift: Divorce papers

Happy Xmas, honey, here's a divorce!

So Ashton Kutcher brightened Demi Moore's holidays by filing divorce papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The couple separated in September '11 after six years. The Two and a Half Men star cites "irreconcilable differences" and seeks no spousal support. Multiple reports indicate that Demi, 50, who has more money than Ash, wants to punish him by seeking a high $ettlement. (She got $80 mil in her divorce from Bruce Willis.) Demi's post-Dashton love life has been sparse. She dated a boy, Vito Schnabel, 26, for a bit, and she was seen earlier this month giving lap dances to Lenny Kravitz at a Miami party.

Neither party has released a comment.

Where will they be on Christmas?

Ashton Kutcher

(see above) has embarked on a dating project so stressful, it turns most single men to mush: taking a new gf to your parents' place for a holiday sleepover. Yep, Ash and

Newlyweds Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, who tied the knot in October, have gathered their respective parents at the Biels' home in Boulder, Colo., for a joint family holiday get-together.
