Tattle: The words for Bradley & Zoe: 'See ya'
HEY, LADIES! Rydal's own Bradley Cooper is single again, according to the New York Post's Page Six. Cooper was hot and heavy with Zoe Saldana, his co-star in "The Words," written and directed by Cooper's childhood buds Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal. The couple started dating shortly after "The Words" wrapped filming, broke up in March, then rekindled their romance in September.

The genetically blessed couple were set to spend the holidays with Cooper's family in Paris, but Saldana spent her New Year's Eve in South Beach with friends (including belly-buttonless supermodel Karolina Kurkova; the Miami Heat's Chris Bosh; his honey, Adrienne Bosh; and teammate Dwyane Wade, who was with his main squeeze, actress Gabrielle Union).
P6 says the relationship lost steam while Cooper was busy promoting the Delco-set "Silver Linings Playbook." His schedule was bound to get even busier as awards buzz for the flick heats up. This means that Cooper will be spending his 38th birthday Saturday solo. Of course, B. Coop knows that Lady Tattle is always around if he's feeling a little lonely come his b-day.
And don't cry too much for Saldana. A source who saw her partying told Page Six, "If Zoe was upset over the split with Bradley, she didn't show it." Go 'head, girl.
* In happier love news, "Star Wars" mastermind George Lucas proposed to girlfriend of seven years, Mellody Hobson. We assume Lucas and Hobson will have one wedding, then re-invite guests to what's essentially the same affair with added special effects so they can receive more gifts.
"Dancing" star, abused
Former "Dancing with the Stars" ingenue Julianne Hough has switched her focus from hoofing it on TV to acting on the big screen. In the movie "Safe Haven" (in theaters Feb. 14), Hough plays a survivor of domestic abuse.
In the February issue of Cosmopolitan, Hough says she was "abused, mentally, physically, everything" after she moved from Utah to England to pursue her pro dancing career.
"I was 10 years old looking like I was 28, being a very sensual dancer. I was a tormented little kid who had to put on this sexy facade because that was my job and my life," Hough told Cosmo.
Hough, now dating Ryan Seacrest, says she's not interested in pity but wants to be a voice for the voiceless. She doesn't go into detail in the piece but says that the abuse got worse when she hit puberty and that she was regularly threatened by her abuser.
"I was told if I ever went back to the United States, three things were going to happen," Hough said. "One: I was going to amount to nothing. Two: I was going to work at Whataburger. And three: I was going to end up a slut. So it was like, 'I can't go back, I have to be this person.' "
TATTBITS
* Barbara Casey, former director of production for the American Humane Association's (AHA) film and TV unit, is suing AHA, HBO and Stewart Productions for wrongful termination after she threatened to report animal mistreatment on the set of HBO's drama "Luck," starring Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte.
"Luck" was canceled scant weeks into the filming of its second season after three horses had to be euthanized during the show's 10-month production.
* Rapper Lil' Wayne added another tattoo to his body canvas: Just in case his lyrics and entire persona didn't convince you that Weezy loves to smoke weed, his forehead now reads "Baked." To be fair, the blocked letters are actually a take on the logo of skateboard company Baker.
* In other weed news, singer Frank Ocean's license was confiscated on New Year's Eve, after cops stopped his BMW for going 25 miles over the 65-mph speed limit. Police said they smelled marijuana and found a small bag in Ocean's car, forcing the singer's passenger to drive them home.
We wonder what Ocean was listening to while speeding, because we've had Ocean's solo debut, "Channel Orange," on major repeat since its release this summer.
Howard Gensler has the day off.
