On Saturday, celebrate Please Touch Museum's fifth-year anniversary of Dia Del Nino (Day of the Child), an international extravaganza presented by Telemundo Philadelphia and El Sol. The day will have arts, cultural, and health activities.

Festivities kick off at 9:30 a.m. with the Philadelphia Eagles' Drum Line Pep Rally, the Eagles cheerleaders, and mascot Swoop. Singer Louie Miranda will perform Latin children's music at 11 a.m., 1:15 and 3 p.m.

Theater and crafts activities will be featured, and Telemundo, using a mini television studio, will let kids record a weather report and explore their TV talents. Nonprofit organizations Mexican Cultural Center and Raices Culturales will facilitate a folklore activity at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Dr. Beatriz Garces, cofounder of the Garces Family Foundation, checks children for cavities, oral cancer, and tooth decay and discusses dental health.

Telemundo will announce the Child of the Year award winners for children who wrote essays on their community service. City Managing Director Rich Negrin will greet winners and present the museum with a proclamation.
