Enjoy fireworks and fountains and Longwood Gardens this weekend.

On Saturday night at 8:15, watch Festive Fireworks set to the music of celebrated Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich - his Festival Overture and Jazz Suite No. 2.

Also check out Festival of Fountains through Monday and see "Secrets of Victoria: Waterlily Queen" on view in the music room through Sept. 29.

Polish-American Family Festival and County Fair

The 48th annual Polish-American Family Festival and County Fair returns this year, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, Saturday to Monday and Sept. 7 and 8, from noon to 8 p.m.

Festivities kick off with a performance by a song-and-dance company, the Duquesne University Tamburitzans.

Festival features include Crafters' Village, a midway, Polish food, polka serenaders, demonstrations, the Belmont Magic Show, and more.

Big Mike's last weekend at Adventure Aquarium

Catch Mighty Mike, America's largest alligator, for his last weekend at the Adventure Aquarium through Monday.

Learn about the 14-foot, 800-pound creature's eating habits, history, and more. While at the aquarium, also check out the sharks, hippos, and penguins. Families can also pet stingrays.
