Academy of Natural Sciences unearths some dinos for new exhibit

The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University presents "Dinosaurs Unearthed" Oct. 12 through March 30.

DINOSAURS ARE marching - in place - as a baker's dozen of animatronic giants gather at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University for "Dinosaurs Unearthed," running Oct. 12 through March 30.

Full-size Jurassic Period skeletons, real fossils and casts will be on display, and plenty of all-ages activities are planned.

While you're at the academy, be sure to visit Dinosaur Hall, where local artist Bob Walters did most of the images on display signs. "If you're in there, you're in part of my portfolio," Walters said.
