Pole helps Brandi feel randy

Reality TV is no stranger to women who spin on poles.

REALITY TV is no stranger to women who spin on poles. Brandi Glanville, of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" has spoken frankly about the pole her ex (Eddie Cibrian, a/k/a Mr. LeAnn Rimes) bought her for their bedroom. Post-divorce, Glanville moved the post to the bedroom in her new digs.

"Here's the thing," said the mom of two. "For a lot of mothers, once you give birth, you kind of lose your sexy a little. . . . [Pole dancing] has been a way for me to get back in touch with my sensuality."

Plus, it's a workout.

"It helps you with your core muscles, your upper body strength. . . . It's like doing Pilates with a reformer, but you feel cute when you're doing it."

Last season, Glanville took her glam gal pals to Vegas to get cute during a private pole session at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Awakenings Pole Fitness, in Manayunk and King of Prussia, also offers women-only private parties, taught by a certified instructor. Scores in Atlantic City recently introduced similar by-reservation-only lessons, available Friday and Saturday nights, taught by a club dancer.
