Now in its sixth year, and having just marked its millionth visitor, Comcast's high-def video wall displays pro ice skaters and Walnut Street Theatre singers in its 15-minute, on-the-hour show. Open though Wednesday.

Christmas Light Show

John Wanamaker's 57 year-old display lumbers on still. Show times diminish after the 25th, so make like Santa and check twice, lest you miss the 10-minute, every-two-hours, often packed-to-the-gills spectacle. Ends Tuesday.

'Elf'

'The Nutcracker'

National Constitution Center

Through Tuesday at 3 p.m. (when it closes for New Year's Eve), the NCC puts on special programs about Washington crossing the Delaware (noon and 2 p.m.), being a kid throughout U.S. history (11 a.m. and 1 p.m.; 1 p.m. only Sunday), the backstory of the celebration of the New Year (12:30 and 2:30 p.m.), plus costumed characters and crafts.
