The Please Touch Museum's Fifth Birthday Celebrations - marking its time in its lavish new Memorial Hall home - continue Sunday with puppet Marvin the Supermarket Manager unveiling features in the City Capers' ShopRite Supermarket exhibit.

The celebration for the popular exhibit, created to help kids explore and practice preliteracy and math concepts while demonstrating choice and responsibility, begins at noon.

Visitors can get the festivities started with faux cake decorating, followed by story time and grocery shopping in the Story Castle at 12:30 p.m. Watch a ShopRite baker perform real cake decorating at 1:30, then chow down on mini cupcakes. At 2, Marvin the Supermarket Manager and a raffle winner will help cut the ribbon on the updated miniature grocery store, which will debut new checkout lanes, shopping baskets, and shopping lists to help children plan menus. The celebration culminates with the End of the Day Birthday Dance Party: Five Moves to Groove.

Potted Potter at the Prince

You can experience the condensed theatrical version of all seven Harry Potter books this weekend with Potted Potter - The Unauthorized Harry Experience at the Prince Music Theater.

The production, a determinedly unfancy musical devoid of lavish sets and special effects, comprises two actors with a few props and costumes and some music. That's all that's needed to take the audience on a very funny trip through the Potter saga in a mere 70 minutes.
