The Philadelphia Orchestra on the Air

On Easter Sunday at 1 p.m. on WRTI-FM (90.1), Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts the work that initiated the rediscovery of Bach's music when 20-year-old Felix Mendelssohn conducted it in Berlin in 1829 - the St. Matthew Passion. This much-requested rebroadcast from 2013 features an impressive roster of soloists, the Westminster Symphonic Choir, the American Boychoir, and the Philadelphia Orchestra, and was the orchestra's first performance of the famous oratorio in nearly 30 years.
