Sunday at 1 p.m., WRTI-FM (90.1) broadcasts a concert from March in which the Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by Herbert Blomstedt, plays Brahms' Symphony No. 1, which has rightfully found its place among the masterpieces of the 19th-century repertoire.

Beginning the program is Mozart's Gran Partita for 12 winds and one double bass. Consisting of seven movements that vary from joyful dances to pensive adagios, the 40-minute work projects a depth similar to that of his symphonies and piano concertos.
