Marissa Jade: A child of 'Destiny'
Sizzling Marissa Jade will be impossible to ignore at Wizard Con Philly 2014.

MARISSA JADE is impossible to ignore.
The sizzling model/actress attracts eyeballs - and keeps them glued to her - wherever she goes and whatever she does.
Now, the nearly flawless Asian beauty is coming to Wizard Con Philly as a featured guest, and says that though she attends various shows throughout the year, Wizard Con Philly is one of the ones she is looking forward to the most.
"I love Philly's atmosphere, the people and the food," Jade said. "I [will] attend . . . as a Cosplay girl. One of my characters is for my comic book, Destiny-Queen of Thieves.
"Yes, I will be there all weekend playing dress up, Cosplay," she continued. "I will do it all. I will sell pictures, comics, calendars and do photo-ops."
Jade says that her con appearances have been very helpful to her career. It was at one con where Destiny - Queen Of Thieves was born.
"A publisher approached me with the idea at one of the events and we discussed how I wanted the comic book to go and he came up with something amazing," said Jade, who credits G.W Fisher, Glenn Tippett, Scott Ethan and CJ Henderson in helping her bring Destiny to life.
It's a character she is proud of.
"Destiny is a very wealthy, creative, sly, sexy thief from New York," Jade said of her character. "She sets up the mafia in the midst of their heists. In the process of them going in to do the job, she gets them pinched by the cops. When the cops come in to arrest them, she then comes in to steal all they were attempting to steal for herself to love the life of luxury."
What does Jade like best about the character, whose original adventures have proved so popular?
"The fact that I am Destiny and I get away with everything!" she exclaimed, with a laugh.
Of course, it seems that there is not much that Jade can't do.
She has made a name for herself in everything from Target commercials to such hit TV series as "Gossip Girl," "The Good Wife" and "Law and Order," from movies such as "Elf" to photo spreads for magazines including Maxim.
Just last week, she finished filming on "The Martial Arts Kid," the family action film headlined by martial-arts/action-movie icons Cynthia Rothrock and Don "The Dragon" Wilson.
"Filming 'The Martial Arts Kid' was an amazing experience," said Jade. "I had a great time on set working with the cast and crew.
"Being of Asian descent, I am very interested in the world of martial arts and I love action movies," she added. "I always wanted to kick ass and show my tough side in a movie."
Jade shows no sign of cooling off.
Next week, she will be off doing a photo shoot for Sports Illustrated and says that she has multiple other projects in development.
"I've been working my butt off these past two years and don't plan on stopping. Just keep watching, you will be hearing more of Marissa Jade, I can tell you that."
