Brad and Angelina wed in France, plan film with sex scenes

Also in Tattle: Joan Rivers hospitalized, M.I.A. ticket winners, special Oscars and more.

ANGELINA JOLIE  and Brad Pitt were married Saturday in Correns, France, a spokesman for the couple says.

The wedding was small and private (good for them) and attended by friends and family (but not Angelina's father, Jon Voight, who didn't know, according to "Inside Edition") at Chateau Miraval.

Tattle sent regrets.

In advance of the nondenominational civil ceremony, Brangelina obtained a marriage license from a California judge, who also conducted the ceremony in France.

Nice gig for the judge.

Angelina walked the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox and Pax. Zahara and Vivienne threw flower petals. Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers, the spokesman said.

This is the second marriage for Brad, who wed Jennifer Aniston in 2000. They divorced in 2005.

Angie was previously married to British actor Jonny Lee Miller for three years in the late '90s and to Billy Bob Thornton for three years before divorcing in 2003.

Us Weekly, meanwhile, reports that the newly married couple's next film, "By The Sea," set to start shooting in Malta, is going to be a small, character-driven drama with crazy sex scenes.

Angelina will direct.

As she does all their sex scenes.

Rivers hospitalized

Even at age 81, Joan Rivers is among our most polarizing comedians.

Some people absolutely hate her. They call her vile, mean, nasty and those are just the words we can print.

Others love her. They either see her as a trailblazer for female comedians - working stand-up for more than half a century - or just admire her willingness to speak her mind and take no prisoners. To them, she's a funny force of nature.

So it's no surprise that when Rivers was hospitalized in critical condition yesterday in Manhattan after experiencing a cardiac arrest during a nonplastic surgery outpatient throat procedure, the Twitterverse exploded with love, prayers and best wishes from Ellen DeGeneres, Kathy Griffin, Alyssa Milano, Sally Kellerman, Wendy Williams, Tavis Smiley and thousands of fans she'd never met, an assortment of "who cares if she dies" hate, karmic comments relating her condition to her views on Palestine and a fair amount of "Wait, she has a heart?" humor Joan might appreciate:

Someone just posted on Twitter: "Please God, take care of Joan Rivers!!!" I replied: "He tried but they resuscitated her!!!"

#JoanRivers in a critical condition....isn't she always critical....?

Whew! Joan Rivers is back to stable condition, now PLEASE stop showing her Lena Dunhams Emmy dress!

- @Puddinstrip

Joan Rivers reportedly stopped breathing and was taken to the hospital, workers on scene reported no facial movement which was a good sign.

- @Brentweets

As of last night, Rivers was in stable condition in a medically induced coma.

M.I.A. ticket winners

Congratulations to Mike McNally and Hannah Messner, who won two tickets to see this year's Made in America festival, taking place tomorrow and Sunday. McNally and Messner won the tickets, courtesy of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, through Molly Eichel's column yesterday.

Made in America benefits the United Way, specifically contributing to education and talent development initiatives to enhance cradle-to-career education and equip individuals with job skills and training. Additionally, United Way and Uber are partnering to ensure that attendees get home safely after the show. Uber will support the Philadelphia Education Supplies Fund, a partnership between United Way, the School District of Philadelphia and the city of Philadelphia. This fund, established in 2013, ensures students and teachers are prepared with the tools needed to succeed.
