From 2 to 4 p.m., you'll learn about the lifestyles of aquatic cold-blooded species and how they survive in the Schuylkill during the cold months. Also find out the physical differences between cold and hot water, and how they affect water creatures.
Plus, you can make a fish to take home.
Take a walk with Little Red Riding Hood
On Friday and Saturday, Little Red Riding Hood comes to the Broadway Theatre of Pitman.
Go on a journey with the scarlet-hooded young lady as she sets off to deliver a care basket to her ailing grandmother - and meets the Big Bad Wolf along the way. The encounter certainly isn't anything her mother imagined when she told Red to go straight to Grandma's, no stopping! Now the Big Bad Wolf wants to know where she's headed.

Take to the ice at the Rothman Rink
There's one month left to enjoy twirling and gliding at the Rothman Institute Ice Rink at the newly reimagined Dilworth Park. The outdoor rink at City Hall remains open through Feb 22.
Skate with the family or solo. The rink offers public skating sessions and a four-week skating program for beginners. Skate rentals are available. Concession stands are available for food and beverage purchases.
