All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records

Colin Hanks, star of CBS' Life in Pieces and son of Tom, makes his feature-length directorial debut with this ode to the great chain record store, Tower Records. Dave Grohl, Chris Cornell, and Chuck D. all appear in Hanks' documentary that examines the legacy of the store and its founder, Russ Solomon. Hanks is such a fan of Tower (did he ever hit up that beautiful South Street location?) that he spent seven years making All Things Must Pass, funding the doc with a Kickstarter campaign that raised $92,025.

Directed by Colin Hanks. With Russ Solomon, Chuck D., Dave Grohl, Elton John, David Geffen. Distributed by Gravitas Ventures.
