On April 1, Cristo Rey Philadelphia hosted a gala at the Crystal Tea Room in the Wanamaker Building. Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School is an independent Catholic college-preparatory high school for students of all faiths in grades 9-12. More than 600 supporters came together for cocktails, a sit-down dinner, dancing to CTO Midtown Express, and an auction, also celebrating the forthcoming graduation of the first senior class. Cristo Rey Philadelphia is part of the national Cristo Rey Network of schools. Money raised will be used to support the current and future needs of Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School.
