Rihanna sued for not paying her grandmother’s funeral bill

Singer Rihanna has been getting into lots of legal battles lately.

Most recently, she got caught up with UK fashion line Top Shop over a t-shirt that had a photo of her face printed on it–she won the $5 million lawsuit. Now, she's the one getting sued over the unpaid bill from her grandmother's funeral.

Clara Brathwaite, Rihanna's grandmother, passed away in June of 2012. The singer had a very close relationship with her g-ma; she once told Oprah, "She was a legend. She taught me a lot about forgiveness and loving my enemies." Because of this, she decided to throw a decked-out funeral for her dearly departed. She rented tents, large screen TVs and massive floral arrangements. As the total tallied up, the bills ran high, and according to reports Rihanna has only paid one-quarter of the debt over a year later.

In addition to these two incidents, Rihanna was forced to pay $47,000 over missed court dates concerning her accountants and a New York woman sued Mac Cosmetics Company because a Rihanna-branded lipstick gave the woman herpes.
