3 Philly radio stations part of major 4-city deal
In all, CBS Radio and Beasley Broadcast are trading 19 stations.

Three Philadelphia radio stations are part of a 19-station swap by CBS Radio and Beasley Broadcast Group.
WIP-AM (610), which has been carrying the CBS Sports Radio Network, will become part of Beasley's portfolio.
SportsRadio 94 WIP, the better-known FM station that carries local sports talk as well as Phillies and Eagles games, will remain with CBS Radio, along with KYW NewsRadio 1060; Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, both AM stations, and WOGL (98.1 FM), which plays "classic hits" and has the group's highest ratings.
Country music station WXTU (92.5 FM) and "Party Station" Wired96.5 (WRDW-FM) will move from Beasley to CBS. WRDW's former slogan was "hits and hip-hop."
In Philadelphia, CBS Radio gains "tremendous, tremendous demographic balance ... male, female, young, old," market manager Marc Rayfield told local staffers, according to CBSPhilly.com, website for the radio stations and TV stations CBS3 and CW57.
No announcements have been made about any changes in staff or programming.
The bulk of the deal involves CBS acquiring a presence in Miami, a major market, in exchange for helping Beasley secure a stronger position in the mid-size markets of Tampa-St. Petersburg and Charlotte, N.C. No cash considerations were involved.
Federal regulators have to approve before the deal becomes official.
