One of the rare times it's appropriate to enjoy the hard-knock life is the stage production of Annie, which continues through Sunday at the Academy of Music.

Feisty, Depression-era Annie lives in a horrible orphanage run by the evil Miss Hannigan. Things change for the better when Annie is selected for a brief stay at the home of the very rich Oliver Warbucks. Annie is directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin. You'll leave singing the musical's popular songs, including "It's a Hard-Knock Life," "I Don't Need Anything But You," and "Tomorrow."

Hayrides to Bunnyland at Linvilla Orchards

Take a hayride to the Easter Bunny's house this weekend at Linvilla Orchards.

Upon arriving at the Easter Bunny's house, children will be able to shake hands and snap photos with the big bunny himself. Come with a sweet tooth: He'll also give out treats.

While you're at Linvilla, check out the incubator at the farmers' market, where you can see newborn chicks and ducklings taking their first steps. This year, the market will also feature baby calves and lambs.

137 W. Knowlton Rd., Media. Admission is $8.
