Pennsylvania Shakespeare announces 2018 season

'Extreme Shakespeare.' The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival in Center Valley announces its summer 2018 season. On the Main Stage, they have Ragtime (June 13-July 1); the stage version of Tom Stoppard's Shakespeare in Love, most-produced play in this country in 2016 (July 11-Aug. 5); King Richard II (July 19-Aug. 5); and Shakespeare for Kids (July 25-Aug. 4). Note: The same actors will alternate Shakespeare in Love and King Richard II, sometimes on the same day! Cool. At the Schubert Theatre it'll be Alice in Wonderland (June 1-Aug. 4), Twelfth Night (June 21-July 15), and All's Well That Ends Well (July 25-Aug. 5), the last done in "Extreme Shakespeare Mode," in which the cast, sans director or producer, works up the play all by themselves, in just a few days. The way Will did it!
