More than 600 guests came together Oct. 24 for Living Beyond Breast Cancer's Butterfly Ball at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia. The annual black-tie gala - LBBC's largest fund-raising event - this year raised $800,000. The nonprofit serves more than 500,000 people annually, offering trusted breast-cancer information and community support in conjunction with the wisdom of the nation's leading oncologists and health-care professionals. This year's award recipients were Jewel Ajibade, Lynn Folkman Auspitz, Dana Donofree, and Debra Strauss; they were recognized for sharing their cancer experiences to help others.
