NOTE: THIS STORY HAS BEEN CLARIFIED.

DICK STANDISH is doing just fine after spending two nights at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The former CBS 3 reporter was taken there Wednesday night after fainting at Finnigan's Wake (3rd & Spring Garden) during his retirement party.

Standish, 65, left CBS 3 after 29 years on the air. He says he collapsed after drinking a Coors Light on an empty stomach. Doctors at HUP gave him a litany of tests and still aren't sure what went wrong, but Standish was given a clean bill of health and planned to spend the weekend "laying low," he told us Friday.

Standish, who is not a big drinker, had a busy day Wednesday, reporting a story and getting choked up while being feted on the 4 p.m. newscast and also at a station reception after that.

The reporter has been in good spirits, joking around with the ambulance crew and allowing CBS 3 reporter Jamie Smith, who paid him a visit on Thursday, to photograph him in his hospital gown.

Standish says he might do some traveling, but for now, he'll serve as clerk-typist for his wife's TV-executive newsletter, The Rundown. Standish's wife is former KYW-TV reporter Kim Sedgwick.

Iggles dancer

is Ivy Leaguer

Center City-raised Christina Thomas might be the first Ivy League Eagles Cheerleader. Thomas is a sophomore theater-arts major at Penn. The High School for the Creative and Performing Arts grad tried out for the dance squad last year but was cut. Thomas told us she worked out, ate better and became more knowledgeable about the Eagles organization before trying out this year.

Now that she's on the squad, she's looking forward to the excitement of the crowd and being so close to all the action. E-mails to the Eagles asking if Thomas is the first Ivy League cheerleader were not returned.

Out and about

Luke Wilson and a pal were at Stella Blu (101 Ford) in West Conshohocken for an early dinner Saturday of an iceberg wedge and spaghetti and meatballs, leaving a 30 percent tip. Wilson also has been to Stella Blu's sister spot, Gypsy Saloon (128 Ford). This was before the wrap party for "Tenure" at the Great American Pub (123 Fayette) in Conshohocken. Last week, Wilson invited a hottie he met at The Grog (836 W. Lancaster) in Bryn Mawr to attend the party.

Forget about any tension between Phillies centerfielders Shane Victorino and Jayson Werth. The two hung out in the VIP room at G (111 S. 17th) with teammate Ryan Howard after their 10th-inning victory Friday night over the Giants. Hockey player Jordin Tootoo, of the Nashville Predators, was also in the house.

Pistons star Rasheed Wallace and a crew of friends played PlayStation 3 at Field House (12th & Filbert) for a couple of hours the other night. The crew brought their own video game. Wallace, the former Simon Gratz High star, wasn't drinking.

Felipe Rose, the original Indian from the Village People, did a tribal chant and made offerings to the large Buddha at Buddakan (325 Chestnut) Thursday night, where he was among the crowd Dining Out For Life. The event at many area restaurants benefits HIV and AIDS services. Mayor Nutter, U.S. Reps Bob Brady and Patrick Murphy, KYW NewsRadio 1060's Wally Kennedy, Philadelphia Gay News publisher Mark Segal, CBS 3's Jim Donovan and CBS 3/CW Philly 57 public-affairs manager Shelley Hoffman were also at the event, for which CBS 3/CW Philly 57 was a sponsor.

Demi drawn to Philly mag folk

If you want to run into Demi Moore around town, you should first get hired at Philadelphia magazine. Senior writer Rich Rys and fashion editor Carrie Denny literally bumped into her a few nights back around 20th and Rittenhouse. Rys was staring at Moore's co-star Parker Posey and Denny at Moore's daughter, Rumer Willis. A few days later, Philly mag assistant managing editor Jessica Remo and boyfriend, Jeff Stine, a legal assistant, were stopped by Moore, who pet Remo's three-month-old miniature pinscher Ollie, who licked her face for a few minutes. Moore told Remo she had just gotten a Chihuahua that's staying with her in town, as she and Posey shoot "Happy Tears," in the area.

The other week, Philly mag design director Michael McCormick  saw Posey laughing and singing into her cell outside Scoop DeVille (1734 Chestnut).

Moore seems quite friendly unless you're trying to take her picture, as photographer John Taggart learned Thursday night.

The actress went "G.I. Jane" on him, grabbing his camera and telling him to "Get the f--- out of here," as he tried to shoot her. (Check out the results at PhillyGossip.com)

She asked Taggart not to photograph her when he first approached Moore outside Audrey Claire (267 S. 20th), where she dined with Rumer and Posey.
