Dan Gross: Alycia Lane party was a no-no?
RUMOR HAS it that CBS 3 management was none too pleased with some on-air talent attending a Saturday-night party at the Borgata in Atlantic City that Alycia Lane organized as a surprise for her boyfriend, Q102's Chris Booker, to celebrate his 37th birthday. Management, of course, is embroiled in a lawsuit with Lane, who has sued the station for alleged wrongful termination, and is seeking unspecified damages.

, to celebrate his 37th birthday. Management, of course, is embroiled in a lawsuit with Lane, who has sued the station for alleged wrongful termination, and is seeking unspecified damages.
Among staffers at the party were traffic anchor Bob Kelly, reporter Todd Quinones and meteorologist Doug Kammerer.
We're told that station management talked only with Kammerer, mostly for appearing in pictures on Q102.com holding two drinks.
Kammerer did not return calls for comment yesterday and a station spokeswoman declined comment.
CBS 3 fired Lane in January, several weeks after she was arrested in New York for allegedly assaulting an NYPD officer. Her assault charge was reduced and her case is in a prolonged period of dismissal called an ACD.
Joey Eye helping on 'The Nail'
"Joey Eye" Intrieri will serve as boxing coordinator and choreographer of "The Nail," starring sandwich mogul Tony Luke Jr. and shooting in the area starting next month. Joey Eye trains fighters at the Front Street Gym (Frankford & Clearfield). He says that some of the movie, produced by and co-starring Leo Rossi, written by Jason Noto and directed by James Quattrochi, will shoot at the Kensington gym.
6ABC's Russell's tale baseless
6ABC sports anchor Keith Russell has reportedly supplied wholly unsubstantiated details to a Florida radio station about last week's shooting linked to Marvin Harrison, the Indianapolis Colts and Roman Catholic football star. Harrison is being investigated by Philadelphia police following the April 29 shooting in which a gun he owns was used to shoot a man who had just beaten him up.
According to ProFootballTalk. com, Russell appeared with Jason Jackson on Miami's WQAM, and said his sources told him that the man who was shot had come to carry out a gangland-style hit on Harrison. According to the Web site, Russell said during the segment that the issue relates to Harrison's father, who Russell told the radio station was incarcerated.
According to a Sporting News article from 1999, Harrison's father died when he was 2. The as- yet-unidentified 32-year-old man was shot on Thompson Street near 25th in North Philly after a fight with Harrison that took place two weeks after the victim was kicked out of Playmakers, a bar that Harrison owns, on 28th Street near Cambridge, police sources tell the People Paper's David Gambacorta.
Our efforts to reach Russell have been unsuccessful. A 6ABC spokeswoman declined comment but says the station is looking into the matter of Russell's remarks.
Out and about
Adam Jasinski, the Cherry Hill-raised winner of "Big Brother 9," is apparently shooting a new reality show. He was tailed by a camera crew on a date Tuesday night at Pinsetter Bar & Bowl (7111 Maple) in Pennsauken, where the two were sipping Miller Lites and bowling.
_ Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown and two pals popped in for dinner Tuesday at Davio's (111 S. 17th), where Brown went for a salad and striped bass, and left a generous tip. At noon today, Brown will be at LOVE Park for Lupus Awareness Day, which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Brown works with the Lupus Foundation of America. His grandfather Allen died of lupus, and his father, Donald, is living with it.
Iggles flying in new BMWs
Eagles running back Brian Westbrook is now cruising in a BMW 750 Li from Devon Hill BMW, which gave kicker David Akers an X5. We hear the dealership will provide the guys new models every couple of months.
Must be nice.
Ralph's Rubino family expands
Congratulations to Eddie Rubino, co-owner of Ralph's (760 S. 9th), who recently became a grandfather. Rubino's daughter Alexis and her husband, Scott Ofchenic, just welcomed their first child, a son, Victor. Rubino says Victor's welcome to work at Ralph's when he's older, so long as he goes to college. Speaking of Ralph's, South Philly-born actor/singer James Darren and his wife, Evy, were just in for lunch. *
