SPRING IS here and divorce is in the air.
Lock up you daughters and granddaughters, 76-year-old Larry King will soon be on the prowl again.
TMZ.com reported that the suspendered CNN yakker filed for divorce yesterday from his wife Shawn Southwick, 50.
So marriage No. 7 goes the way of marriages 1-6.
Larry blames the split on, what else, "irreconcilable differences."
The couple married way back in 1997, so in terms of King marriages, they were wed nearly 100 years.
They have two sons together.
* Not to be out-
done, Shawn also filed for divorce, according to TMZ.com.
Her attorney, Joe Mannis, put in her papers a few minutes after
Larry's.
Shawn too alleges "irreconcilable differences."
She seeks primary physical custody of their two boys, as well as spousal and child support. She also wants property and the couple's house in Beverly Hills.
TMZ says the divorce was precipitated by a massive argument over Larry's faithfulness.
According to RadarOnline.com, Shawn accused Larry of sleeping with her younger sister, Shannon Engemann, 45.
Inside sources say Larry bought Shannon a $160,000 car and spent more than one million dollars on her.
Shannon, however, told TMZ.com, "I did not have an affair with Larry. He's been like a father to me."
* In other divorce news, shortly
before leaving her Orlando-area home and jetting to Scotsdale, Elin Nordegren (aka Mrs. Tiger Woods) met with a divorce lawyer, RadarOnline.com reports.
A source close to the situation said
the lawyer spent several hours at the home - probably while Tiger was at the Masters.
"She's switched lawyers," the source told RadarOnline. "Her new lawyer is from out of town."
* They're not divorced yet, but it's
only a matter of time.
In Touch Weekly reports that
Charlie Sheen is proving once again that dogs, like leopards, can't change their spots.
Charlie has reportedly been regularly slipping out of rehab and cheating on wife Brooke Mueller with lingerie model Angelina Tracy. Angelina (aka Nina) also charges $3,000 an hour as a paid escort.
And, yes, you're just paying for her company.
Charlie may not be paying the rack rate to spend time with Angelina, but In Touch says she has repeatedly spent time at his mansion while Brooke has been out of town.
Charlie has also been seen wearing a bad disguise while sneaking into Angelina's home in Studio City.
On April 7, In Touch says Charlie stayed for an hour.
Ka-ching.
Whether he's paying or not, when you make $850,000 per half hour of TV you can afford $3,000 for an hour of sex.
But maybe this time Charlie has really found true love.
In Touch says Angelina was recently seen getting into the back seat of Charlie's chauffeured Mercedes.
"Charlie had a bouquet of flowers waiting for her, and her face lit up when he handed them to her," said an eyewitness. "You could see them kissing on the lips."
Awww.
* Lastly, in news of a couple on the
divorce track, Nas says he's focusing on music and his children after striking a deal - paying ex-wife Kelis nearly $50,000 in child support - to dismiss a civil-contempt charge against him.
Kelis' attorney sought the contempt charge earlier this year after Nas fell $200,000 behind on child- and spousal-support payments. He was ordered in December to pay more than $51,000 a month to Kelis and their infant son.
She filed for divorce in May.
How to re-train your 'Dragon'
When we saw a story about "The Girl with Dragon Tattoo," our first thought was what has "Bombshell" McGee done now, but it was just Columbia Pictures buying the English-language movie rights to the popular Millennium trilogy by late crime novelist Stieg Larsson, a Swedish film- production company said yesterday.
Yellow Bird AB, which made Swedish-language movies based on the books, will work with Columbia Pictures on the Hollywood versions, for which filming is expected to start next year.
Yellow Bird's chief executive, Mi-
kael Wallen, said the movies will be produced by Scott Rudin, whose credits include "No Country for Old Men" and, coincidentally, "The Book of Mormon" musical (see next item). "Schindler's List" scriptwriter Steve Zaillian will adapt the books for the screen.
Larsson, who worked as an investigative journalist and anti-racism campaigner, never got to experience the success of his books. He died of a heart attack at 50, just before the first book was published in Sweden.
Since then, a conflict has emerged over Larsson's estate between his father and brother, who inherited the rights to the books, and his longtime partner, Eva Gabrielsson, who was left with nothing because they never married.

* "South Park" creators Trey Park-
er and Matt Stone are taking aim at Broadway.
Duck, Broadway, duck!
The subversive cartoonists have written a musical comedy called "The Book of Mormon," which will open on Broadway next March. The two wrote the show's book, music and lyrics, along with Robert Lopez, one of the creators of the Tony-winning "Avenue Q." The musical will be directed by Parker and Jason Moore, who directed "Avenue Q."
"South Park" premiered on Comedy Central in 1997, thus outlasting Larry King's seventh marriage.
