Tattle: Bachelorette Ashley Hebert being shorted?

, a source close to the show says that Hebert, a Penn dental student, will only bank $30,000 for the two-month TV shoot.

If you think $30,000 is an obscene amount of money to have megalomaniacal men throw themselves at Hebert's perfectly pedi-ed feet, let us put that into perspective for you: The show's highest payout for contestants is a cool $100 grand. Not to mention 2009 "Bachelor" lovebirds Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney received $30,000 to broadcast their wedding last year as a two-hour event on ABC.

So what gives? Why so few zeroes on the end of that paycheck? We think it's because Hebert was no one's first choice to take on the "Bachelorette" mantle - Hebert came in third when she was vying for the affections of two-time "Bachelor" Brad Womack during the seventh season - and ABC was hoping for a cheapie contestant. Let's hope Hebert eventually ties the knot with one of her suitors so she can rake in wedding gifts.

Then again, she always has that dental degree to fall back on.

Love Bites

* Prince Albert II of Monaco, son of actress, Philly gal and ultimate class-act Grace Kelly, married his longtime love, Charlene Wittstock, in a civil ceremony yesterday. They have plans for a more tricked-out gala tomorrow. Albert, 53, met Zimbabwe-born, South African-bred Olympic swimmer Wittstock, 33, in 2000 but didn't make their official public appearance until 2006 during the Winter Olympics.

Controversy came to light on Thursday when the palace had to quash rumors that Wittstock was going to go all Julia Roberts and runaway bride their wedding. "The sole intention of these rumors is to seriously damage the image of the Sovereign, as a result of damaging that of Miss Wittstock, and bear down on this happy event," read a statement from the palace.

Yo, Albie, don't forget about your roots! If the new royals of Monaco ever need to renew their vows, Lady Tattle could set up a nice fire hall wedding for youse.

* Supermodel Kate Moss tied the knot with Jamie Hince, of the band The Kills, yesterday in Gloucestershire, England. Moss was clad in a stunning, cream-colored custom-made John Galliano gown covered in rhinestones.

But the festivities didn't end there. In fact, the nuptials will consist of a three-day bacchanalia that the Daily Mail reports has been dubbed Moss-stock.

Believe it or not, this is the first marriage for Moss, who has a daughter, Lila Grace Moss, with magazine editor Jefferson Hack and was briefly engaged to drug-addled Brit rocker Pete Doherty. Moss and Hince met in 2007 and announced their engagement in February.

Sore down the 'Shore'

* "Jersey Shore" housemate Vinny Guadagnino reportedly had it with his roomies' shenanigans and is leaving the Seaside Heights house. Shooting on the new season began on Monday, and the usually even-keeled Guadagnino left the house on Thursday, hopefully with dignity still intact.

As we reported last Saturday, MTV reportedly wants to give the current "Shore" castmembers the boot in favor of a newer, cheaper group of sub-literates. So while Guadagnino may be cutting his 15 minutes of fame short by a minute or two, it might be best to walk away while he's on top and get that law degree he should have gotten years ago.

MTV had no comment.

* DJ Paulie Lis is suing "Jersey Shore's" Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio for $4 million, claiming that the gelled-to-the-max reality star's moniker and profession has soured 40 years of brand-building. Lis, a Connecticut-based DJ, trademarked the name "DJ Paulie" but now says it is impossible to find his name or website on the Internet because DelVecchio is more famous than he is.

"The reality television show [follows] a group of young adults pursuing a debauched lifestyle suggestive of loose morals, violence, intoxication and liberal profanity - the exact opposite of the reputation the Plaintiff, 'DJ Paulie' that [sic] he had spent decades cultivating," the lawsuit reads, proving that DJ Paulie could just add the phrase 'buzzkill' to the end of his name and it would have the same effect.

Lis sent MTV a cease-and-desist order last March but was ignored. DelVecchio tried to patent the nickname, claiming that no one would ever confuse him and Lis, but was denied.
