Rapper remorseful

Drake says he's sorry he got all, you know, upset about Rolling Stone's replacing him on the cover of its new issue with the recently deceased Philip Seymour Hoffman, the Associated Press reports. The 27-year-old rapper wrote on his blog Friday: "I completely support and agree with Rolling Stone" and described Hoffman as "legendary." Drake had tweeted Thursday that he was "disgusted" with the switch and was through with magazine interviews. The new Rolling Stone issue appeared Friday.

Rosie reveals surgery

Funny lady Rosie O'Donnell wasn't looking for laughs when she announced Friday that she had vertical gastric sleeve surgery to help her control her weight. She has lost 40 pounds since having the surgery in July, Rosie told a Go Red luncheon, sponsored by the American Heart Association, in Detroit, People mag reports on its website. That brings her down to 190 pounds, according to People. "I did it to save my life," said O'Donnell, 51, who suffered a heart attack in 2012.
