DANNY HAMMOND just got a little help from Batman himself.

The 21-year-old from Springfield, Delaware County, is at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia because of astrocytoma, a cancerous tumor on his spinal cord.

To show Hammond, who has been battling cancer since he was 9, support, his family posts pics to a "Dan's Our Man" Facebook page. Although most contributors are family and friends, Christian Bale recently sent his own show of support, sending a pic with "Dan's Our Man" written across his face. Bale found out about Hammond through Hammond's cousin, a costume designer who has worked with Bale.

Bale is known for changing his appearance for the big screen, such as his recent Oscar-nominated role in "American Hustle," but rarely has it been for a cause this sweet.

Although Hammond may not have the resources of a caped crusader, he's a hero in his own right, working tirelessly to raise money for Alex's Lemonade Stand.

Philly's '1st Look'

Loyal readers of this here column know that former "Hills" star Audrina Patridge was in town this weekend filming segments for her NBC travel show, "1st Look," and I've got the dates on when you can check out her Philly adventures. Watch her brunch it up at recent "Top Chef" contestant Jason Cichonski's Queen Village spot, Ela, on March 29; then she'll get fried with the Cow and the Curd food truck on May 3; and eat a Whale of a sandwich at Spread Bagelry on June 28.

"1st Look" airs in the post-"Saturday Night Live" spot.

Set sail with the Flyers

Celebrity Cruises is booking a cruise for Flyers superfans this summer. Taking place in August, the cruise will sail from Bayonne, N.J., to Bermuda. Although Celebrity is keeping mum on which stars will set sail on the high seas, it promises members of the Stanley Cup championship teams, Broad Street Bullies icons and recent Flyers retirees. For info, go to celebritycruises.com/flyerscruise.

OUT AND ABOUT

* Celeb chef Emeril Lagasse is making a habit of visiting Wayne's Paramour (139 E. Lancaster Ave.) when he's in town for QVC. Lagasse dined with a group and especially raved about the foie gras and parsnip cappuccino soup and the duck confit salad.

* Food Network star, part-time Philly resident and Philly food-scene booster Marc Summers dined at Kevin Sbraga's Fat Ham (3131 Walnut St.), the new spot from the "Top Chef" Season 7 victor. Summers was so pleased with his meal that he tweeted out his happiness, singling out the lobster, trout and chicken, adding that former Le Bec-Fin chef Georges Perrier joined him in chowing down.

* A very-pregnant Santigold, the Mount Airy-raised musician, was guest at the Friday nuptials of artists and Sweatheart leaders Thom Lessner and Rose Luardo at the Latvian Society (531 N. 7th St.). I hear she rocked a leather baseball cap and a long leopard-print coat. Rapper (and fellow Sweatheart member) Amanda Blank was also in attendance.

Put a ring on it

Rittenhouse jeweler Craiger Drake proposed to gal pal Denise Duszak at Osteria yesterday. Drake proposed six months to the day after he and Duszak met. If you're going to marry a jeweler, the ring better be a stunner, right? Drake didn't disappoint with an emerald and platinum ring of his own design.
