NBC10's Deanna Durante welcomes second child

NBC10'S DEANNA DURANTE is a mom again.

The reporter, along with husband, Tim Swan, welcomed Mattax McQuain Swan, a/k/a Mattie, in the wee hours of yesterday morning.

The 7-pound, 14-ounce Mattie joins 2-year-old Maya in the Durante-Swan clan.

Both mom and baby are doing swimmingly.

Michael Ealy and Megan Good, the stars of "Think Like a Man Too," will walk the red carpet at the Prince Music Theater (1412 Chestnut St.) tomorrow. The movie officially hits theaters June 20. The flick, a sequel to the Steve Harvey-adapted book, also stars Philly guy Kevin Hart, who I told you yesterday will host WWE "Raw" on Monday.

Be forewarned, though. I've interviewed Ealy before and his blue eyes are mesmerizing.

Fred Thomas Jr. may forever be dogged by one phrase through the rest of his acting career: Whaaassuuup?

Thomas is a former Budweiser pitchman from the famed ads, created by Charles Stone III, director of "Drumline"and son of late, great Daily News columnist Chuck Stone.

The Temple grad will be at the John E. Allen Jr. Theatre at the New Freedom Theatre (1346 N. Broad St.) this weekend starring in his play "12' x 9'," about Townsend, a prisoner serving out the last five years of a 25-year sentence who is forced to live in the same cell as two other men: a jailhouse preacher and a sociopathic manipulator. The show won three NAACP Theatre awards for best director, best play and best producer in 2012.

on Tuesday at the Great Chef's Event, benefiting Alex's Lemonade Stand and the Vetri Foundation for Children, like Superintendent William Hite, CBS3's Jessica Dean and Chris May, 6ABC faces Alicia Vitarelli (who hosted the event) and Melissa Magee, and former NBC10er Justin Pizzi. The event raised $750,000 for the two charities through ticket sales and auctions, including $24,000 for a trip to Italy for six along with Chef Rocco Whalen, Chef Jeff Michaud and Jeff Benjamin.

* Phillies broadcaster Jamie Moyer grabbed a bite to eat at the Dutch Eating Place in the Reading Terminal Market (51 N. 12th St.) yesterday.

* Steve Landes (a/k/a "John Lennon") and Joey Curatolo (a/k/a "Paul McCartney"), of Beatles tribute show "Rain," visited the Hard Rock Cafe (1113-31 Market St.) yesterday and posed with their counterparts' costumes from the "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" era. "Rain" is at the Academy of Music through Sunday.

Loyal Daily News readers will remember Chuck Darrow's story from last week in which he tried out for "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." Alas, Darrow was told that he would not make the cut to compete for the cool mil.

Local artist and freelance writer Natalie Hope McDonald is one of only 13 artists from around the world, and the only one from Philadelphia, appearing in the calendar for Art Basel Miami, a massive art fair showcasing modern and contemporary art. McDonald, whose work can be seen on Philly.com, will get an all-expenses-paid trip to Miami and her work showcased at the Seagram's Gin launch party during Art Basel.
