Demi's bf: A life-saver

Sometimes, a boyfriend isn't just a bf. Sometimes, he's a lifesaver. That's how the fine-featured waif Demi Lovato describes Wilmer Valderrama.

"I wish I could put into words how grateful I am for this man right here," Demi, 22, said of Wilmer on Sunday on Instagram. The occasion: It's the third anniversary of her sobriety. Demi, who also has struggled with eating disorders, credits Wilmer with keeping her sane and alive.

"My love has grown to a level that words could never possibly express how much this man completes me," she wrote. "I really wouldn't be alive today without him."

Beastifying a beauty

Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens as a beast?! How dare they! The handsome Brit will be uglified to star as Beast opposite Emma Watson's Belle in a live-action 3D version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, set to open two years hence.

High heels are worth it!

Real artists soldier on, no matter what ails them. It's a lesson Jessica Simpson has taken to heart. The singer-turned- fashion-maven tells People that no amount of suffering will dissuade her from rounding out her outfits with a pair of heels.

"The best fashion advice? To me, that's the deepest question," Jess tells the mag. "I think the best fashion advice would be, '[Even] if your feet hurt, wear the shoes.' "

In memory of Paul Walker

The late action hero Paul Walker was memorialized Sunday night at a surprise preview screening of his final film, Furious 7, at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.

Walker, who died in a car crash in November 2013 at age 40, is featured in the automobile sequel with Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris.

Walker died before filming wrapped. New scenes were shot using CGI and two body doubles - Walker's real-life brothers, Caleb and Cody - to stand in for the star.

"When we decided we were going to continue this movie," producer Neal Moritz told the crowd, "we were determined to honor his legacy and our love for him forever." He begged viewers not to disclose Walker's storyline. The film will open April 3.
