The media stopped writing about her as a performer and fixated on her physique, says Winter. "It made me feel really uncomfortable, because as women in the industry, we are totally oversexualized and treated like objects."
In June, Winter underwent breast-reduction surgery. "I'm excited to finally actually feel confident and not just appear confident," she says.
Aguilera topless - kinda
The world almost flew off its axis this week when Christina Aguilera, 34, snapped a topless selfie. She Instagrammed the shot (strategically placed arms cover the R-rated parts) to fans with the message, "it's all real, all the time."
Added the leading American musical recording artist: "And it's just the beginning."
Kanye petitions, times 2
The White House has removed an online petition submitted by fans exhorting the executive branch to force Kanye West to release his new album post-haste.
Meanwhile, In Touch Weekly says Kanye is collecting signatures from his wealthy neighbors in Hidden Hills, Calif., including Drake, LeAnn Rimes, and David Boreanaz, for a petition calling on the FAA to declare the airspace above his homestead with Kim Kardashian a no-fly zone.
Spielberg and the spies
The world will have its next dose of Stephen Spielberg in a little more than two months, when the master's Cold War drama Bridge of Spies, starring Tom Hanks and Amy Ryan, will screen at the New York Film Festival, which runs Sept. 25 to Oct. 11. The film will have its general release on Oct. 16.

Constantine Maroulis has been arrested for allegedly throwing gf Angel Reed to the ground and kicking her in the groin at their home in Wycoff, N.J. A rep for the American Idol alum tells TMZ he didn't kick her but did defend himself against her attacks. The couple have a 4-year-old daughter, Malena. . . . TMZ says Lamar Odom accosted his onetime one-and-only Khloé Kardashian as she was on her way into SoulCycle in Beverly Hills, Calif., whereupon he proceeded to scream at her. People were upset. . . . We know of at least one guy who'll definitely be voting for Donald Trump to win the GOP presidential nomination: rocker Ted Nugent. "I'm a big fan of Donald Trump because I believe in bold, aggressive, unapologetic truth. Period," Ted tells WIBX radio's Keeler in the Morning. . . . Rob Lowe will voice Simba in the Disney Channel movie The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar, and Gabrielle Union will do Nala, USA Today says. . . . Several news outlets have published reports that a trailer has been released for Quentin Tarantino's new film, The Hateful Eight.
