The year of Amy Schumer continues with massive book deal

Also in Tattle: Justin Bieber, Bobby Hill, celeb divorces, Kate Hudson, Meg Ryan, Kenny Rogers and more

AMY SCHUMER is so hot right now, she might personally be responsible for climate change.

Schumer had a $100 million grossing movie this summer ("Trainwreck"), she recently opened for Madonna at Madison Square Garden and she won an Emmy for her Comedy Central sketch series, "Inside Amy Schumer." Her HBO stand-up comedy special is next month.

This news kind of got lost in the pope's visit, but Entertainment Weekly reported that Schumer is following in the comedic author footsteps of Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Lena Dunham, Chelsea Handler, Mindy Kaling and the late Joan Rivers. She's landed a book deal that's estimated to be worth between $8 million and $10 million.

The book will be a memoir/essay collection called The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo.

TATTBITS

* Choose your own punchline . . .

Billboard.com headline: "Justin Bieber Opens Up About Relationships With Selena Gomez, Jesus Christ . . . "

1) In the throes of Bieber Fever, it's easy to get those two confused.

2) We guess that puts Bieber one relationship up on Pope Francis.

* Andorra 14-year-old Bobby Hill, who wowed the papal audience on the parkway with his angelic version of "Pie Jesu," joined Al Roker yesterday for the "Today" show weather report.

With that voice it looks like sunny skies for Bobby.

* E! News reported that BBC journalist Sarah Teale was filming a report outside a sexual harassment conference in Nottingham about the staggering statistics on people getting verbally abused in public when she was verbally abused in public.

"It's not banter, it's not funny and no one should have to put up with it," Teale said of the sexist nastiness. "It's fairly obvious from my reaction that it wasn't staged. If [cat calling] is a craze, it doesn't make it any less offensive."

And one would think the Sheriff of Nottingham would have cracked down on such rude behavior by now.

* In a bush move, Gavin Rossdale is going after half of Gwen Stefani's money per radaronline.com.

The couple has three children but no prenup and she has a clothing line and "The Voice."

No doubt she will fight him.

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and soon to be ex Ryan Sweeting do have a prenup.

Good thing for Kaley as she makes a million dollars nearly every time Sheldon says "Bazinga!"

Nick Jonas and Kate Hudson?

He's 23, she's 36 and although the couple says they're not dating they did spend a magical day together at Disney World, according to People magazine.

Nick may know Kate because he works with her brother Oliver on "Scream Queens."

Kate may have her eye on Nick because she has babies with musicians.

* Comcast is buying a majority stake in theme park operator Universal Studios' Japanese arm for $1.5 billion.

Comcast, which owns NBCUniversal, will have 51 percent ownership of the business.

Universal Studios Japan, which opened in Osaka in 2001, has many of the company's well-known attractions, as well as rides and shows geared specifically toward the Japanese market.

NBCUniversal CEO Steve Burke said in a statement yesterday that the acquisition will help to expand the company's theme park business around the world.

How about a theme park here, Comcast?

*  From "You've Got Mail" to you've got no male, Meg Ryan has reportedly been dumped by John Mellencamp so he can take up with Christie Brinkley.

Making matters worse, Meg is reportedly broke. But hopefully that's celebrity broke and not Tattle broke.

* "The Gambler" Kenny Rogers says he's retiring from touring and will do one last worldwide farewell tour after five decades on the road.

Rogers, 77, says in a video message on his website that he wants to spend more time with his two young sons (they're 11) and his fifth wife, Wanda.

Rogers will be on the road through the end of the year promoting his latest Christmas album, "Once Again It's Christmas," and then will do a final world tour in 2016 with cities and dates TBA.

Hey, you got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em.
