No charges for Lamar Odom

Lamar Odom won't have to swap his rehab bed for a jail cell: Nye County, Nevada, prosecutors say the former NBA player will not be charged with any crimes in relation to the drug binge.

Odom was hospitalized Oct. 13 in "extremely critical condition," according to the Associated Press. He had cocaine in his system but did not have it in his possession.

There had been some reports Odom might be charged with "unlawful use of cocaine or being under the influence of a controlled substance."

District Attorney Angela Bello said it was "unlikely it could [be] established beyond a reasonable doubt he actually ingested, or was impaired by, the drug during the time he was within the jurisdiction of Nye County."
