Patti Davis on mom
Patti Davis and her mom, Nancy Reagan, developed a much more loving connection with each other in the years before the former first lady's death on Sunday, Davis told Maria Shriver Thursday on NBC's Today.
In a searing 1992 memoir, Davis, now 63, described her mom as abusive and overly critical. That changed when her dad, former President Ronald Reagan, became ill late in life.
"At some point, and really it was at the beginning of my father's illness, I chose to aim for peace of mind in and of itself with my mother," Davis told Today.
"I made a decision to look at her and look at us through a different lens - through a more loving, forgiving lens."
Added Davis, "I'm happy for her that she's with my father now."
Stefani's worst day
"If I could, I would just tell you everything, and you would just be in shock," Gwen Stefani says of what happened on the morning her marriage ended. "It's a really good, juicy story."
So Stefani, 46, teases the New York Times in a new interview.
Stefani had performed at an awards show, shared Mexican food with her Voice costar Adam Levine, and gone home thinking her life was as grand as ever.
Then morning came. There was anguish.
"I'm gonna die," she thought to herself. "I am dead, actually. How do I save myself? What am I going to do? How do I not go down like this?"
Stefani's new LP, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, is chockful of songs about being in love again (with Blake Shelton).
A Duggar homecoming
Former 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar is home after spending seven months in a faith-based facility where he was treated for porn addiction.
"I definitely have forgiven Josh," sister Jessa Seewold tells People. She's one of five women whom Josh admits he molested when they were under age.
He also confessed he cheated on his wife, Anna. She said in a recent TV special the experience had "been a good opportunity to draw close to God and just trusting God for his wisdom."
