Do you spend your free time studying the history of that venerable subgenre in American cinema, the teen sex comedy?

Do you find yourself craving soft-core gay porn?

If you answered yes to both queries, then Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild! is the movie for you.

Todd Stephens' preternaturally raunchy follow-up to his surprise hit, Another Gay Movie, reunites Andy, Nico, Jarod and Griff, who are called upon to complete a new Impossibly Gay Sexual Mission. The first film opened the Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival in 2006; the sequel opened it this year.

Except for the quartet's most oddball character, the fantastically fab and fatuous Nico (Jonah Blechman), the boys are played by a new trio of actors, which is confusing for fans of the first picture.

This time, the boys head out to Fort Lauderdale - that dreamy, poetic village that each year is invaded by thousands of frat boys and their sorority-girl dates.

Nico and pals check into a gay resort that is hosting the ultimate sex contest, Gays Gone Wild. As the activities coordinator Tyrelle Tyrelle (a very tired-looking RuPaul) explains, there's only one rule: Have sex with as many partners as possible.

What follows is 90 minutes of sex, sex and sex (not to mention a massive orgy involving the entire resort and an attack by a pack of killer gay zombies).

Stephens' parody includes clever references to the straight raunchfests Porky's and American Pie. But his film feels more like a collection of skits than a cohesive story. His characters aren't even half-dimensional and, except for Nico, are boorish bores.

That includes the film's celeb walk-on star, gossip columnist Perez Hilton. Hilton stars as Hilton, a super-horny gay gossip writer who gets a bump on his noggin that transforms him into a fire-and-brimstone-spewing Christian priest. His characterization isn't funny. It's just insulting - even to an atheist.

Among other things, Sequel is a poor sequel. The first flick contained a touch of humanity and innocent wonder - crammed in among scatological references, penis jokes, sex-toy gags, and frenetic sex scenes. The sequel is a colder creature with little heart.

It's about a time when the world had gay sex comedies as puerile as the straight ones. But as nasty as Porky's and Pie get, they still pay lip service to ways of relating to people other than intercourse, including friendship and romance. They even contain nonsexual jokes and cultural references.

Another Gay Sequel, on the other hand, is so grotesquely obsessed with sex that 90 percent of its dialogue is about "doing it."

And that's just boring.
