Cause & Celebration: Surrey Senior Services Gala & Auction

More than 270 supporters attended the Surrey Senior Services Gala & Auction on April 18 at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford. Cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, live and silent auctions, and raffles were part of the evening's enjoyment, as was the Orpheus Club of Philadelphia, which brought the Showtime at Surrey theme to life. Proceeds of nearly $80,000 will support Surrey's mission to help older adults live independently. Last year, Surrey helped nearly 8,000 seniors and their families through its home-delivered meals and meals at centers in Devon, Broomall, Havertown and Media, as well as its transportation services.
