As the staff at Mode prepares for the annual Black and White Ball, Amanda (Becki Newton) prepares to go public with the news that she's Fey Sommers' daughter, and Claire (Judith Light) prepares to crash the party. Shrek

-like grouch and chatty sidekick, the creatures-aiding-young-human premise of

Monsters, Inc.

Who cares? It's fun. Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Denis Leary give voice to a cranky mammoth, motor-mouth sloth, and sneaky saber-toothed tiger who join forces to get a human infant back to its tribe. Actually, the tiger plans to take the baby home as an hors d'oeuvre, but he'll come around.

30 Rock

(8:30-9 p.m., NBC10) - Let the games begin! Jack (Alec Baldwin) learns that Don (Rip Torn) may be retiring as head of GE and wants to go for the job. His nemesis, Devin (Will Arnett), has the inside track, though, having just gotten engaged to Don's daughter. Another obstacle: Word gets out about Jack's heart attack. Liz (Tina Fey) is being pressured to get her life together. Jenna (Jane Krakowski) enjoys her new body and newfound fame.

Without a Trace

(10-11 p.m., CBS3) - A stuntman vanishes from a film set after a particularly risky stunt. As Jack (Anthony LaPaglia) and his team investigate, they discover that someone had threatened the man's life shortly before he disappeared.
