Willie Lincoln, 47, became angry at Thomas Albertson's alcohol-induced behavior Sunday night at the Pine Motel, on Route 130 in Mansfield Township, punching Albertson and stomping on his head several times, according to the county prosecutor's office.
Albertson, 55, was found shortly after the attack and was pronounced dead at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County, in Willingboro, at 10:02 p.m.
Lincoln was arrested yesterday morning and charged with murder. His bail was set at $500,000.
A woman who answered the phone at the motel declined to comment.
According to a Mansfield Township news release, Lincoln was arrested at the motel on Nov. 20, 2008, on charges of assault, terroristic threats, theft and resisting arrest.
He was taken to the Burlington County Jail, in Mount Holly, on $50,000 bail after that incident. It's unclear when he was released.
