A masked gunman held up the Citizens Bank branch at 20th and Market streets Saturday morning, the second Citizens Bank branch the same man is suspected of robbing.

The man is described as a tall black man in his late 20s or early 30s wearing a jean jacket, white cloth mask, black winter hat and jeans with an "oriental" design on the front of the pant legs. The same man is believed responsible for the robbery of the Citizens branch at 1701 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000.

Man dies in Cobbs Creek fire

A fire claimed the life of an elderly Cobbs Creek man shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday on Salford Street near Larchwood Avenue.

The 75-year-old man and his wife were pulled from their house by firefighters and taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where the man was pronounced dead. His wife was treated for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

The cause of the blaze, which was the ninth fatal fire this year, was under investigation.

Cadets at Holocaust museum

Philadelphia Police Academy Class 353 is visiting the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., today. The museum and the Anti-Defamation League have developed a training session for police recruits and other officers.

The program, "Law Enforcement and Society: Lessons of the Holocaust," examines the history of the Holocaust and encourages law-enforcement officials to reflect upon their personal and professional responsibilities in our society.

10G reward for murder tip

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $10,000 reward for those responsible for the murder of Ladislav "Abe" Farkase, who was shot to death Jan. 9 on West 5th Street in Chester. Anonymous tipsters are asked to call the Crime Commission at 215-546-TIPS.

Teen killed, 6 hurt in crash

A New Jersey teenager was killed and six others injured when the vehicle they were in struck a utility pole and overturned on Route 35 in Toms River Saturday night.

The victim, Anthony Casselli, 17, died yesterday in Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. State police said he was a passenger in a car driven by another 17-year-old. One other teen remained hospitalized last night. The teens' ages ranged from 14 to 18.

Big cat OK at half his size

One of the world's biggest cats was among many two- and four-legged creatures who have lost their homes in the current economic crunch.

Prince Chunk (orignally named Princess Chunk before someone looked closer) was found wandering the streets of Voorhees last August.

He weighed 44 pounds, just short of the world record. He was taken in by a Washington Township couple, made headlines and appeared on TV news shows.

He's doing fine and has cut his weight down to 22 pounds, his new owners said. *
