2 dead in shootings over holiday weekend
Two Philadelphia men were shot and killed in unrelated incidents over the Memorial Day weekend. Albert Munger III, 21, was shot in the chest and back about 11:15 p.m. Sunday, police said. Officers responding to a call of a person with a gun found Munger outside a house on Clearfield Street near Martha, in Kensington. Munger, of Benson Street near Torresdale Avenue, was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital 30 minutes later.

The second shooting occurred about two hours later in the Kingsessing neighborhood.
Officers arriving at a home on Redfield Street near Chester Avenue were greeted by a 21-year-old woman with a gunshot wound of the hand. She directed them to the second victim, Aaron Lewis, 18, who had been shot on 60th Street near Kingsessing Avenue.
Lewis, who lived on Redfield Street near Chester Avenue, had been shot multiple times in the torso and legs. He was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, at 2:10 a.m. The female victim was also taken to HUP for treatment.
Police had made no arrests immediately in either shooting.
