2WOMAN JUMPS OFF BRIDGE AFTER ACCIDENT

An unidentified woman jumped off the Passyunk Avenue Bridge, in Southwest Philadelphia, killing herself, shortly before 6 p.m. yesterday, police said. The woman got out of her car after a minor automobile accident occurred on the bridge, walked to the edge and jumped, police said. They didn't know if she had been involved in the accident.

25G REWARD OFFERED IN MONTCO HOMICIDE

Montgomery County authorities put up a $5,000 reward yesterday for information leading to the person responsible for shooting two men, one fatally, about 1 a.m. Sunday in Norristown. The men and others were in the kitchen of a West Marshall Street home, celebrating the birthday of Jose Sanchez, 23. Another man, Ernesto Armondo Gonzalez, had been arguing with a man who was seen raising his arm and shooting, authorities said.

Sanchez, shot in the chest, was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and was expected to recover.

Gonzalez, 38, was shot three times, including once in the forehead, and was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital, where he died about midnight Monday. Anyone with information concerning this crime should call the county Detective Bureau at 610-278- 3378.

3FAKE COP TRIES TO PULL WOMAN OVER IN DEL.

Delaware State Police say that a man flashed what appeared to be a badge and tried to get a female driver to pull over.

The incident happened about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 95 between U.S. 202 and Marsh Road.

The driver said that a car pulled behind her, flashed its headlights, then pulled beside her vehicle. The driver motioned for the female motorist to pull over and held up what appeared to be a badge, cops said.

The woman did not pull over and continued to drive for about three miles before the other car stopped following her, police said.

GERMANTOWN YWCA FIRE

RULED AN ARSON

A Wednesday night blaze that damaged the old Germantown YWCA, injuring two firefighters, has been ruled an arson, authorities said.

Someone ignited combustible materials in a third-floor utility closet, sparking the fire in the shuttered building, at Germantown and Chelten avenues, said Mark McDonald, a city spokesman.

Squatters have been a recurring problem at the property, which is owned by the controversy-plagued Germantown Settlement, McDonald said.

Authorities haven't determined who set the fire.

MAN DIES OF GUNSHOT WOUNDS FROM

S. PHILA. ROBBERY

Hugo Louis Mwagala, 22, of South Philadelphia, who was shot in a street robbery early Wednesday, has died of his wounds.

Police spokesman Lt. Frank Vanore said that Mwagala, of Reed Street near 19th, died at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday.

An armed robber shot Mwagala in the head at 2:30 a.m. near his home.

WANTED: MOM, SON

IN VEGAS HOMICIDE

Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating a mother and son who may be in Philadelphia and are being sought in connection with a homicide at an apartment in Las Vegas, the FBI said yesterday.

Michelle Costello, 43, and her son Peter, 19, may be staying in low-cost motels and are believed to frequent bars and pizza restaurants. They don't have a vehicle, so they most likely are using public transportation or taxis, officials said.

Tipsters are asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000.
