2 Franklin Square
Tomorrow to Monday, noon to 3 p.m., at the square, 6th and Race streets, Old City. Free.
Franklin Square will feature several activities for children, including face-painting and games.
3 Teal Ribbon Ovarian Cancer 5K Walk: Race Against Time
Sunday, 8:30 a.m., Memorial Hall in front of the Please Touch Museum. Adult Registration is $20 online and $27 on race day.
Proceeds from the 5K will fund research at the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. Cash awards will be given to the top five men and women, and a special award will be given to the first ovarian cancer survivor to cross the finish line.
4 Bridesburg Memorial Day
Parade
Monday, 10 a.m., Richmond and Juniata streets. Free.
After a Memorial Day service, one of the largest parades in Philadelphia will start.
5 Hang Free
Monday, noon to dusk, Fairmount Park.
Hang Free's semiannual free outdoor DJ Party will take place in Fairmount Park, featuring Terreyl Kirton, Linda Leigh, Kevin Kong and Willyum, with resident DJ Under, on the grassy area on West River Drive near the Strawberry Mansion Bridge.
