Cashing in on droppings

TO MOST people, dog doo is a stinky, germy nuisance. To Otto and Erich Suttmann, it's money in the bank.

TO MOST people, dog doo is a stinky, germy nuisance.

To Otto and Erich Suttmann, it's money in the bank.

The brothers from Oreland built a business around pet poo. For $12.99 a week, they'll come to your house or business and clean up the crap you don't want to touch. (Prices are slightly higher if you have more than one dog or a giant property.)

They started the business, the Bomb Squad Corp., in 2003, and it's grown so much, both consider it their full-time job, Otto Suttmann said.

"People's lives are much more hectic than they used to be. They have more important things to do in their lives," he said. "We just thought it was a good opportunity."
