PEEPSFEST is held at the ArtsQuest Center at the SteelStacks Campus on Founders Way near 3rd Street in Bethlehem. Doors open at 10 a.m. today.
Today's events include:
* Noon: Mascot dash
* 12:15 p.m.: 50-yard "fun run" for kids
* 12:45 p.m.: Hula-hoop competition
* 1 p.m.: 5k run
* 4 p.m.: New Year's Eve party featuring the band Starfish
* 5:15 p.m.: Dropping of 4 1/2-foot, 85-pound, lighted Peeps chick and a fireworks show
All-day events include:
* Peeps craftmaking
* Peeps diorama exhibit
* A video-game competition
* Face painting
* A family disco lounge
* Peeps cinema
* Peeps scavenger hunt
* Make your own Peeps s'mores
* Guess how many Peeps are in the Peepsmobile.
