Boy shoots boy in face

A 12-year-old boy was shot in the face this morning by an 11-year-old in a Camden apartment, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office Warren.

The boy was taken to Cooper University Hospital and is expected to survive.

Authorities say the incident occurred about 8 a.m. today at an apartment on the first block of Hunter Street in the Crestbury Apartments.

Authorities say an 11-year-old boy, also from Camden, fired the weapons.

No charges have been filed and an investigation is continuing as to how the boy gained access to a gun.
