Tornado watch issued for Philly, S.J.

The National Weather Service has issued Tornado Watch until 8 p.m. for the following areas:

New Jersey: The watch area includes Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean counties.

In Pa., the watch area includes Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia.

Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers early...then showers and thunderstorms likely. Some thunderstorms may produce damaging winds...large hail and frequent lightning. Breezy...hot with highs around 90. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Partly cloudy. Showers and thunderstorms likely in the evening. Some thunderstorms may produce gusty winds in the evening. Lows around 60. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
