Nasty winter storm heading our way

  A mix of sleet, rain and snow is heading into the region for the remainer of the weekend.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly is calling for a chance for sleet today with a high near 37.  Little or no snow accumulation is expected.

Sleet will turn to rain tonight with a low of around 33. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Ice could accumlate up to one-quarter inch in some areas, especially north of the city.

Sunday's forecast calls for periods of rain before 3pm, followed by a slight chance of rain and snow showers.  High near 51.
