‘SideShow’: Cruise cruisin’; Philly Folk Fest; Travolta-gater bails!

It’s hard to believe that Tom Cruise, who turns 50 in July, has never had a nip, tuck, lift or lipo in his life. “I haven’t, and I never would,” Tom tells Playboy on the set of his next sci-fi blockbuster, Oblivion. Of wifey Katie Holmes, he says: “Everything she does, she does with this beautiful creativity,” says Tom. “She’s funny and charming, and when she walks into the room, I just feel better.” Phila folk fest returns Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle and John Hiatt will be among the guitar pickers at the 51st annual Philadelphia Folk Festival Aug. 17-19 at the Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford, near Schwenksville. ABC News talking head Katie Couric has scored big time: Sit-down chats with Britain's two hearthrobbiest royals ever, Prince William and Prince Harry, says USA Today. They'll be on Couric's May 29 20/20 special, The Real Queen: By Her Own Royal Family, a look at Queen Elizabeth II's 60-year-reign. One get that couldn't be got: HRM QEII herself. She's never given an interview as queen.

Travolta Masseurgate over?

The first of three men who have accused John Travolta of unwanted sexual advances has dropped his suit. Travolta's lawyer Marty Singer tells TMZ, "my client is completely vindicated. ... We fully expect that my client will similarly be vindicated with respect to Doe #2 ... " Second masseur guy has yet to drop his $2 mil suit.

Colin Farrell in Center City

Sunday night brought a whiff of intrigue to Barclay Prime steakhouse on Rittenhouse Square. Actor Colin Farrell stopped by a table occupied by Revlon most high Ron Perelman, hosting a Penn graduation party for daughter Samantha. Film director Brett Ratner was an attendee.

Paula Deen in A.C. fest

Paula Deen will be a part of this year's Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival, July 26—29. Cherry Hill guy in 'Shark Tank'

Cherry Hill High School West and Rowan University alum Gary Gagnon will compete on the season finale of NBC's Shark Tank on Friday. The show gives inventors a chance to have their product backed by big investors.

Gagnon, a former of Moorestown High School vice principal who now lives in Charlotte, N.C., has developed Remyxx sneakers, a brand of shoes that are 100 percent recyclable. Gaiman to address U. of Arts

Novelist and comic book hero Neil Gaiman will be in town Wednesday and Thursday at the invitation of the University of the Arts. Thursday he'll receive an honorary doctorate in fine arts and deliver the keynote address at the school's 134th commencement ceremony at the Academy of Music.
