Settlement Music School celebrated its 107th anniversary gala on May 2, with more than 360 joining in at the Hyatt at the Bellevue. The event honored Hall of Fame music giants Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff for their contributions to the musical legacy of Philadelphia and around the world. "You can do anything you want, don't let anything or nothing distract you," Gamble told students and guests. Since 1908, more than 300,000 have benefited from Settlement Music School's services. The $350,000 raised will be used to help support financial aid for students in need.
