Einstein Healthcare Network celebrated its 150th anniversary Nov. 4, 5, and 6 with its Harvest Ball Weekend. Events included a showcase and "Taste of Philly" reception on Nov. 4, an education seminar and the 64th annual Harvest Ball on Nov. 5, and the Einstein Family Brunch on Nov. 6. More than 700 people attended the Harvest Ball at the Hyatt at the Bellevue, where they enjoyed food, drinks, and entertainment. The Harvest Ball raised more than $1.2 million to benefit Einstein's new telehealth system. Designed to support patients with chronic illnesses, the system incorporates multiple components of telemedicine in an effort to reduce readmission rates.
