The Cancer Support Community of Greater Philadelphia held its 14th annual In Fashion fund-raiser n Nov. 9 at Neiman Marcus at the King of Prussia Mall. More than 250 guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, live and online auctions, and a runway presentation of Akris' spring 2017 collection featuring cancer survivors and professional models. Also featured were Jeffrey Levinson handbags and Gurhan Jewelry. CSCGP is part of the largest cancer-support organization in the world, providing free educational workshops, lectures, and alternative therapies, along with exercise, nutrition, well-being, art, networking, and social programs for adults coping with cancer diagnoses. The event raised about $150,000 for Cancer Support Community's free programs, camps, and support groups for children dealing with cancer in their lives.
